Bereavement Care: A team who makes visits, sends cards and grief books, makes calls, takes grief baskets, and provides grief resources to families who have lost a loved one.
Hospital Visitation: A team who visits those who are hospitalized due to an illness, operation, etc. to provide a listening ear and pray with the individual and family members.
Home-bound Care: Adopt a home bound member to regularly check on by phone and visit.
Nursing Home Ministry: A team who visits those from out congregation who live in area nursing homes.
Meal Care: A team who prepares meals to send to families after hospital stays and other times of need.
Call to Care: Keep abreast of members needs, concerns, and other matters of prayer by making phone calls.
Flower Ministry: Help deliver flowers to brighten someone’s day that has been hospitalized or home bound (they are created in bud vases from donated flowers).
Helping Hands: Yard work, small repairs, and little projects for home bound and elderly.
Communion Care: Take Holy Communion to those who are home bound, shut-in at nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: Join a team who knits or crochets prayer shawls. To be given to encourage people going through difficult times.
Card Care: Send a card of encouragement, a get well wish to hospitalized, thinking of you card to those who are home bound, in nursing homes, hospice members, or in crisis such as grief, loss of job, etc.
Stephen Ministry: This ministry cares for people going through their most difficult circumstances.
Transportation Ministry: Volunteers provide rides to the drug store, doctors’ appointments, and grocery stores to those who have no means of transportation or cannot drive for a short period of time.
