M Kids provides a place for children age 6 weeks-grade 5 to learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We want kids to see how they are part of God’s Big Story, to know that He loves them no matter what, and to build friendships that will last. We provide small groups that engage in fun, life-application activities, large group teaching that is relevant, and worship that is designed for each age group.
Each week, kids from infancy to 5th grade experience Jesus in safe, age-appropriate environments alongside leaders who have been interviewed, trained, and background checked. We provide tools that families can take home to continue exploring God’s Word together during the week.

Check-In & Registration
Outside of the Auditorium in the West Campus Building, you will find our M Kids Information Desk with a team of volunteers, wearing our signature blue t-shirts, ready to help you get to the right place. Our M Kids volunteers will greet you, guide you through the first time visitor check-in process, and personally escort you and your child to their age appropriate classroom. They will be happy to answer any questions you have about the children’s ministry at Mt. Horeb.
Security & Pick Up
At registration, you will receive a unique set of two tags: one nametag for your child to wear and one security tag that you will need to pick your child up at the end of the service. Both tags will have the same unique security code on them. If for some reason your child were to need you during one of the weekend services, we will text you or put the last name of the child and his or her identification code (located on the parent security tag) on the screens in the Auditorium. We would ask that you exit immediately and look for a staff member who will assist you. Please leave your cell phones turned on and on vibrate. Please make sure we have your cell phone number before leaving the children’s ministry area.
At the end of the service, proceed to your child’s classroom; the unique code on your security tag and your child’s nametag will be verified before your child leaves. Children will be released only to the adult who has the security number that corresponds to the number on the child’s nametag.
